Once again it is time to renew your membership, or become a first time member, of the North Carolina Association of County Clerks to the Boards of County Commissioners. Annual membership dues are $50.00. Membership is open to (a) the person who bears the title of Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners or Deputy Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners; (b) any person in each of the 100 counties whose function is to record, maintain, and safeguard official minutes, actions, and notices of the Board of County Commissioners; (c) the secretaries of those persons responsible for recording minutes and maintaining records for the 17 regional councils of governments in the State of North Carolina.
Membership in our Association is well worth the dollars spent in membership dues. The Clerks Association is assisted by the School of Government and is an affiliate of the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners. Programs and workshops are specifically designed to assist clerks in professionally performing the duties and responsibilities of their positions.
Our goal is to have all 100 counties represented, as well as each of the Regional Council of Governments. Please complete the enclosed membership application form and return it with $50 to Kristen G.
