Message from your NCACC President

NCACC PresidentWhat can I say about the January, 2012 City/County Clerks’ Academy & Institute, except “WOW”!   The sessions were very informative and I’m confident that everyone returned with a renewed sense of energy and knowledge, ready to tackle the many challenges that Clerks encounter every day.

Our business meeting on January 24th was well attended and it was exciting to see these new Clerks becoming involved.  Carolyn Athey, our faithful Secretary, will be forwarding minutes in the future so you can stay on top of the business/activities of our Association. Carolyn recently sent out the 2012 membership applications and I encourage everyone to renew your membership prior to the March 31st deadline.

Plans for our 2012 Annual Conference are really coming together.  As you are aware, the conference is being co-hosted by Forsyth and Guilford Counties.  Effie, Crystal and Jane continue to work hard to make this our best conference ever and they have some exciting sessions and activities in store for us.

Kathy Myers, the Caldwell County Clerk, is seeking articles/information/pictures for our next newsletter.  If you are a new Clerk, I encourage you to send a brief article about yourself to Kathy at kmyers@caldwellcountync.org.  What better way for us to get to know you better.

Thank you all for your continued support of our Association.  Feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance in any way. more info...
